A stunning display of dominance saw the Dragons utterly humiliated as Benetton ran riot, scoring an incredible eleven tries in a match that left the Welsh region reeling.
The Dragons, who had been enjoying a decent run of form, were completely outclassed by a ruthless Benetton side. Despite their recent successes, this game proved to be a bridge too far, with the Welsh club suffering a crushing 74-21 defeat.
The battle was one-sided from start to finish. Benetton's performance was nothing short of outstanding, with their powerful play and clinical finishing leaving the Dragons in tatters.
Benetton's tries were spread across multiple players, showcasing their depth and talent. Alessandro Izekor, Onisi Ratave, Malakai Fekitoa, and Paolo Odogwu each scored, with Jacob Umaga and Louis Lynagh both grabbing doubles. Leonardo Marin also got in on the act, adding to the try-scoring feast.

As the first half drew to a close, the Dragons' hopes of a comeback were dashed as Benetton scored their fifth try, with Umaga crossing the line. The hosts continued their dominance in the second half, with Lynagh and Odogwu adding to their tallies.
The Dragons did manage a consolation try through Dyer, but Benetton quickly responded, with Umaga intercepting a pass to score. Lynagh's second try, set up by another powerful run from Ratave, put the game beyond doubt.
Marin and Lewis-Hughes added further tries, with Benetton claiming their eleventh and final score through Marin.
