BYD’s first vehicles built on this platform, the Han L and Tang L, launched in China with a starting price of just $30,000. A video shared on X by user Dominic Lee demonstrates the Han L charging at up to 746 kW, reaching 70% capacity in under five minutes. And this is the part most people miss: the Han L can go from 10% to 70% charge in just six minutes, and a full charge takes only 20 minutes. The Tang L SUV isn’t far behind, adding 230 miles of range in five minutes and fully charging in 30 minutes.
