This means that many nations are not producing enough children to maintain their current populations. But Musk doesn't stop there. He goes on to claim that this population decline is an 'existential threat to civilization.' In a conversation with Nikhil Kamath, Musk stated, 'Humanity may face extinction if current trends persist.' He believes that the growth of human consciousness and our ability to explore the mysteries of existence depend on a larger population. Musk argues that a smaller population equates to reduced collective awareness.
And this is the part most people miss: Musk suggests that having children is not just a personal decision but a responsibility to ensure the continuation of humanity. He boldly advises, 'We fundamentally have to have kids or grow extinct.'
