Naira climbs back, adds N1.65 to the dollar in the official market

The Naira finished the week on a stronger note, gaining N1.65 against the U.S. dollar in the official market after trading at N1,454.41. Data published on the Central Bank of Nigeria’s official site shows this as a 0.11% increase from Thursday’s rate of N1,456.06.

The currency opened the week with a slight dip and ended up with modest declines midweek, trading at N1,455.38 on Wednesday.
